JULY 9- Angel Ride to Save the TaTas 10th Annual Event!!

This years Angel Ride event is on July 9th! Two (2) WEEKS AWAY! I am not sure where this year has gone as it just seemed like we just started planning and now we have 13 days to be ready for the ride! We have so many new ideas and things going on this year!! We have added a PARTY BUS! Those of you that ride on bikes my ask WHY a PARTY BUS!??? Well you have some people that want to be on the ride, and well don't have anyone to take them, or want to be safe and not drive as you been drinking, or big plus just want to have a blast with new & old friends on a BUS! My thoughts are "HELP THE ANGEL FILL THE PARTY BUS" the charge is $25 person! You get to bring a small cooler with you too!! What a way to have fun while on a good event to help others! And don't forget if it rains you can stay dry too!! BUT we are hoping for great weather!! Bikes & cars fee is still $15 per person!! Lets make this year a big turn out! Don't forget we have live & silent auctions... and I have been seeing allot of the awesome things coming in this year, many many new things that we have never had before! Plane tickets, different event tickets for getting away, toolbox, pictures, jewelry and so much to list!! You'll have to come down to Amigo's for the ride to see! And well IF by chance you can't come to the ride, stop down after 5 pm to catch up on the fun & activities!! I have been posting pictures of the donations, on Facebook that we have been getting so, IF you can not make it at all that day, get ahold of someone to bid on that special item for you!! We did get allot of Iowa & Iowa State items, I think it would be awesome to maybe have a computation to see which college items bring in the bigger funds Iowa or Iowa State!! What are your thoughts??? Well until we meet again, Ride Safe...Knees to the Breeze! Angel Rider Girl

WoW What a turnout!!

WOW is all I can say after Saturday July 11, 2015 ride! The day started out cloudy, rainy and humid! Well after getting set up and waiting for awhile, the people started rolling into Amigos!! We have many of us that dress for this special day, while wearing my tutu for the 3-4 year, my son grew out his hair to a 7" mohawk dying it pink and purple, and our special friend always dyes his beard pink! We had all sorts of things happening at Amigo's Saturday morning they served bisque's and gravy! Our helpers were selling shirts and misc items!! Jana with Coolbikerstuff.com had her trailer down from Milford Iowa selling items from it (while giving us a percentage from her sales!) Also Janelle with Gecko leather bracelets was selling her items, while also giving us a percentage of her sales! We have had some really gracious people this year giving us percentages to go towards our fund raiser!! We are truly blessed with these people!! We had under 500 people sign up for the ride this year!! With the weather and the many things that always go on in the summer I say that we had a good turn out!! We had a delayed start out as the rain and and trying to get people all registered! BUT It was amazing when we pulled outta Amigo's to head to our first stop there were so many bikes still at Amigos, but when we pulled into Antlers in Clare there were bikes every where!! It was so amazing!! The sight of all these bikes makes all the work that we do throughout the year is so well worth our time!! Being a first stop we always know that there will be plenty of people there! There were great at making sure people were waited on!! As we left Clare we headed to Rolfe, a nice ride over there we had a double stop there! It was also dinner stop(s)!! Wes's Place and The Bud Barn in Rolfe both were set up to serve people on demand! They both had Delicious food!! Each place always has their nitch!! Dan Allen at the Bud Barn has a pink Clydesdale rocking horse! It was painted like the Clydesdale horse, then he painted it pink after his wife was fighting breast cancer. He had it so that people could get on top of it to get their picture taken with it!!
To see the massive size of this horse was so amazing! He also was greeting people on their way in making them feel welcome, while also telling them on their way out to ride safe! Leaving Rolfe we headed north to Algona to Ernie Williams Harley Davidson! That is always a good spot to stop off at! Fun to look at the all the things they have for sale!! Leaving Algona we headed south east to Renwick! Well what can I say about Renwick? Better off what can't I say!! Alli and her staff at One More? bar in Renwick came all out for this ride! They greeted people outside their front door, had BARBIE shots with a portion of the price coming back to the ride, also serving a drink called LaDonna Summer Sunset drink with a $1 per drink coming back to us! To go even further they played a game called PLINKO with the funds coming back to the ride! Everyone that played the game walked away with a prize!! The Brick Gypsy Pizza guy served good foods there too!! After leaving there we headed south to Humboldt to Millers Landing! Being greeted by their staff and Curt as he was on the ride too, we sat to relax awhile and knowing it was time to make our last journey back to Amigo's to finish out the ride for the day! Upon getting back to Amigo's everyone had a chance to stretch their legs while getting something to eat! The DJ Joel Johnson spun some tunes, while auctioneer Curt Carlson got things lined up for the auction! We had some great helpers, helping out for the auction! The first item up for bid also came with a speech from Mary Jo Hinds, she was the artist of a lion picture that was up for bid. She was also a breast cancer survivor, getting up in front of a group of people is not very easy for people, but I think it also makes people think!! The auction started off after that. There was many fun things to bid on and then came another guest speaker Michelle Enriquez, she had told me in Feb that she wanted to be a speaker as I pulled her up on stage last year!! I got to know Michelle a few years ago, and so glad that she chose to get up in front of these people again!! She reminded people that early detection saves lives!! Not only with breast cancer but all cancers!
People should all have their checkups yearly! As the auction wound down and people started heading home for the night, a few of us sat around to finish cleaning up and relaxing a bit before heading home. We talked about things that went on during the day and being very thankful for all the helpers we had to help us out during the day! It is a very hard job to put together a ride like this! There are so many people that we couldn't do without! The stops, the people who donate, the ones on the ride, the people that work the day of, and the many days before. Getting donations is not easy for anyone to do but after you sit back and think about it, it helps so many people in the end!! Thank you so very much to all that help out the Angel Ride!! Take Care & Ride safe~ Angel Ride Girl

2014 Total $30,111.78 WOW

All I can say is Wow!! The check to TRMC Oncology Dept for 2014 was $30,111.78! What an awesome job everyone did to help make this years total a success!! It was not as much as past years, but it is on our way to a quarter million donated to the TRMC oncology for uninsured expenses such as scarves, wigs & traveling expenses! You say a quarter million?? Yes, the day of the walk Rusty our DJ asked how much we have made over the years. So we started adding and adding... well after thinking of how much we have raised and donated, we are a little under $60,000 shy of a quarter million! Now can you say WOW??? Makes you think of all the breast cancer patients that we have helped over the last 8 years and hope to help over the future years to come! We have been so blessed to have so many awesome people to help us over the last 8 years and we hope to have many more people join us in making our goal of a quarter million dollars. We want to help as many as we can until breast cancer is no longer! We are still selling shirts and that is our biggest money maker. The shirts can be gotten at Party Productions here in Ft Dodge, IA. Or you may send a donation to us or TRMC Oncology Dept with a note to let them know it goes towards the Angel Ride area! Remember early detection saves lives!

Angel Ride walk "Laps for Life"

Today is Oct 12, 2014 and also the day that the Crossroads Mall hosted the Laps for Life walk for the Angel Ride! There is nothing better than to meet old friends and new during an event for the Angel Ride! We tend to have some laughs but hope to always raise funds for breast cancer patients! Rusty McNeal spun some tunes throughout the day and he also had a t-shirt cannon, and was able to shoot some tshirts down the wings of the mall, which there was many kids ready to chase them!! There were many people stop by to support the walk, and to purchase shirts!! My biggest thing for the day was to meet a very special gal that is going through breast cancer. As we got talking she told me of a person that she admired, a guy that wore a pink beard at the Angel Ride,he is a friend of mine. She wanted him to know how much it meant to her that he done this. I don't think those that wear the pink mohawk , pink beards or dye their hair pink for breast cancer awareness truly know what this mean to those that are fighting breast cancer. It shows that they support those fighting breast cancer, whatever it takes!! This young woman also told me that her husband and friend went bald when she did!! That is awesome as I have heard of this before too!! It takes real friends to do this for the one that is fighting cancer. Thursday is going to be a special day for the Angel Ride... we are going to be handing over the funds to the hospital!! Stay tuned for 2014 totals!!!

We'd like to have everyone back at Amigo's by 5 pm so that we can start the live & silent auctions, did I mention there will be food!! Oh, and there is always plenty of FUN!! So we need a little help from everyone!! Ride Safe~ Angel Ride Girl

Twas the Night Before...

Greetings to all! It is the night before the ride, and well, just hours away before having to get things ready for the ride! The last couple days have been amazing! Thursday I got pushed in front of TV 13 camera to do a spot on TV and well this morning at 6:20am I got to see myself on TV! Wow! Then this morning was on the radio with 2 other Angels! We had fun, even tho it was early in the morning, we got through it and work the whole day through too! An Angels work is never done... But we still march on ward!! When stopping at the bank to get change for the ride, the gal working there asked where she could get a shirt as her sister saw it on the TV and wanted a shirt, I was surprise that I wasn't the only one watching it... haha I hope that we get some good coverage out it the interviews these last couple days! The weather is to be really nice! I know I can't wait to get out there and meet new people that I have emailed with and texted with! And also meet up with old friends that we don't get to see very often! It will be an exciting day I am sure!! Well knowing I have to get moving early in a few hours, I best close the blog for the night! Thanks to all that support the Angel Ride, and hope to see many of you tomorrow! Come up and say hi if you see me, would like to meet as many of my followers as possible! Take Care, and ride safe~ Angel Ride Girl

The count down is on!

Well we are on the last days until the ride... can't believe where all the time has gone to?! Tonight we loaded up the trailer with the donations getting ready for things on Saturday! All I can say is wow there are some nice donations!! And more are expected to come in tomorrow and Saturday morning! We are getting some more per-registrations which is always good, then they don't have to wait in line on Saturday morning! There will be a breakfast served there tho, so come on down and enjoy something to eat, visit with people, or just come down and enjoy the cool bikes! But then again we will have things for people to buy, such as their 2013 Angel Ride shirts, koozies, bandanas, bracelets, pins and decals! It will be fun to look out to the crowd to see the color purple... Some may say I am not one to wear purple... this year the reason we chose purple is that is the color of survivor!! We are hoping in the near future that there will be a cure for breast cancer so show our support and wear purple! :) All of our helpers this year have done an amazing job! Going out to get donations, selling shirts, and promoting the cause! The radio station is going to talk to some of us Angels at 7am! Yes our Angels have to rise and shine early to work our wonders! Well I am going to close tonight with some thoughts and prayers of hoping that Mother Nature gives us a nice day on Saturday to ride, and that we have an awesome turn out throughout the day so that we can turn over another big check to help the patients with uninsured expenses. Hoping to beat last years total! The pedal cars in the the pictures are ones that have been donated this year! Thanks to all that support this event... Enjoy the weekend, and ride safe~ Angel Ride Girl~

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to everyone~ This is a time of year that we enjoy riding, being with families, or camping!!! With the awesome weather that we have been having it's just nice being outside! The Angels have been working bike nights & we do have fun at them! Meeting new people, and catching up with old friends too! The best thing about working bike night is the people that come up and tell you about survivors in their families or friends going thru breast cancer now, and they are helping each other through the tough times! Being a friend to all helps life for many to be better! There is a count down to the ride coming up, we have 3 more bike nights to do! Hopefully you can make it to one of them, and get your new Angel Ride merchandise or per-register for the ride coming up! We are now taking credit cards! I know this will help some as not everyone carries cash all the time! Thanks in advance for helping us to raise money for breast cancer patients with uninsured expenses!! Ride Safe! Angel Ride Girl~~

People you meet along the way...

Wow! This coming Saturday is the ride, I am not sure where the time has gone this year! The weather has been awesome for riding lately! Two wheel therapy is what I call it. After a long day sometimes its just nice to have a long ride to clear your head & take a deep breath of the wind your riding into to make things seems a little less stressed! Well for some that works out, but for others maybe not so! At bike night at Amigos the 2 weeks ago, while working the table of selling shirts, and misc Angel Ride items, a guy came up to me. I've seen him around town, not sure of his name, I have always stopped to talk to him! He started to tell me about his sister that he lost this February to breast cancer. She was 52 years old. Oh my, this is very hard for him to talk about, and well, hard to know what to say. He said that he had other sister, aunts that he'd hope that they wouldn't get breast cancer as well. We were selling coasters that had saying on them and had been tied together, so we took them apart so that he could find the right ones to give to his sisters, and aunt! You could tell that he felt at ease being able to talk about, looking over the different sayings, and being able to feel free to talk about it... Last week we went to Rockwell City Lynchs for bike night... we had a nice crowd & they always make us feel welcome there! Big Daddy Addy the DJ does an amazing job there! And he supports us Angel Ride girls 100% !!! Here again we had a few gals come up to tell us their stories! One was wearing the red hat lady's shirt which is purple! She told me she was a 4 year survivor! As I told her congratulations and wishing her many years of survival, another gal came up to us to get a purple koozie! Telling us at the table that her mother passed away 43-45 years ago. She said she was a small girl when her mother passed. As she talked she said they didn't know as much about breast cancer as they do now, and had hope that they find a cure soon. It is amazing how strong these women are, and men as they tell their stories to others. I think that it is awesome that they can talk about their stories, as it gives others courage to fight their battle(s) too!! Today I had a call, a guy wanting the last years Dudes for Boobs shirt! The one store that sells them had him call me! I looked downstairs and had his size! He told me that he could pick it up at bike night this Wed!I had no problem saving it back for him. I had also asked him if he had seen this years shirt?? I was referring to the "Booty for Boobies" shirt, he said he saw the gray one, but didn't look at it, and said that the purple wasn't his color! I said the reason we went with the purple is that it is a SURVIVOR color! He said he knew that and he himself was a survivor! Yes it took me by surprise, but on the other hand... my sons choir teacher, and another elderly man I know of has died of breast cancer. I told him this too. Many may think that it is weird that a man can get breast cancer, but it can happen. So for anyone if you have a pain, a lump or any questions about your chest, please get it checked out because early detection saves lives... some of these people that I have talked to lately are living proof it can! And some are not as lucky. We can only pray that some day soon they will find a cure! So this Saturday when the ride for the Angel Ride to Save the TaTas is going on, look around you at the people that are there, as I know there are going to be some that are survivors, some that are just beginning to fight their battle with breast cancer, and some that are there because they know someone that has passed from it. Stop and listen to their stories, as some times it helps others to be able to just talk about it! Remember to "Treasure Her (or His) Chest" "Booty for Boobies" (they both mean the same!!) And you will be amazed at the people that you meet along the way! Take Care~ Ride Safe~ Angel Ride Girl~~

Having a day of fun!

Finally after many bike nights of rain, we finally get a good day to go down to Amigo's to set up and sell Angel Ride merchandise! There was a good turn out there as Mason City Harley was down there rolling for the Harley bike! That always brings a crowd! We sold a few shirts and Angel Ride items, but the big thing was we were offering per-registration for the ride! We had a couple come and sign up, and hopefully over the next few bike nights, we will have more sign up!! And if they can't make it to bike night for signup, Kaleidoscope Gift and More 925 Central Ave Fort Dodge, Iowa, Melissa has registration forms there! Plus a large supply of Angel Ride shirts and misc items! There is also shirt available at Party Productions 1919 1st Ave N Fort Dodge, IA! Last night at bike night we did a 50/50 where you get half the pot and the other half goes to the Angel Ride! Well there were $418 sold so the guy that won it got $209! Well to our surprise, as I handed him the money, he handed it back to me! That gives you shivers up and down my spine! He got a round of clapping, that was truly amazing! Then after that, a business owner here in Ft Dodge, came up and gave me $100 bill! Wow! All I can say is WOW! The supporters are awesome! I did have a couple people that came to the table, one was a gal that bought a tank top for her and her friend, she had breast cancer. Another that said her friend was just going through it, and we talked how her friend is lucky to have the support of her friends and family. It is interesting of how open some are about their stories and journeys through their cancer dealing. I think it is an inspiration to others that may have someone they know get it or if they themselves get it! This is where pay it forward comes into effect! I was in touch with an old friend that is planning to get together a car wash for us! With the rainy weather, it's looking like it will be the week after the right, but that ok, as we don't turn over the money until Oct! (Breast Cancer Awareness Month) In the picture is Melissa and me! She just got this T-Bucket rod, and on the front of it is a beast cancer ribbon! She will have many pink details added to it over the winter! She gave me a short ride in it yesterday! That put a smile on my face that lasted a long time! Thanks Melissa! We are hoping that the weather holds up for people to ride, I know not every day is going to be good for rides, bit those are days that you can get your other things done! Just be safe in riding! Thanks for following my blog... ~Angel Ride Girl~

Treasure Her Chest is this years theame!

The weather has been playing with us all this year~ It was so nice in March that people had their bikes out and then in May we got some snow~ It's Iowa! Never know what the weather will throw at us sometimes! Just remember to be careful when riding your bikes out there not always do cars or trucks look for bikes! The Angel Ride is in full swing this year! The shirts are in and you can get yours at Party Productions 1919 1st Ave So Ft Dodge and also at KaLeiDasCope Gifts 925 Central Avenue Fort Dodge! The short sleeved T-shirts are $15, long sleeved are $20, hoodies are $30 and women's tanks are $15! We will have a new guys shirt this year, and we should have them in a week or so! Andy that designed out our shirts this year did an amazing job! The Angel has metallic wings, so we could giver her extra strength to help her in her battle with breast cancer! Along with the pink breast cancer ribbon! We put this all on a dark purple shirt as purple is the survivor color!! We have had a good response to this years shirts! Kathy at Personali-Tees 913 N 14th St Humboldt has been a great person to work with these last 3 years!! Don't know what I would do with out her help! The route is all planned too! The businesses helping us out this year are awesome! I can't wait to work with them throughout this ride! If anyone is interested in helping out this year go to the Angel Ride Facebook sight and leave us a message!! We are always looking for new helpers or donations of any kind!! Thanks for helping support the Angel Ride to Save the TaTas!! ~~ Angel Ride Girl~~

Oct 14th Walk

Good evening... Michelle at the FD Crossroads Mall is hosting a Walk for the Angel Ride to Save the TaTas! This will be held on Oct 14th with info coming out Oct 1st! Hope everyone can come out to walk for the event... she is hoping to have other things going on through out the mall, lets just hope it is a good turn out! I will post more info as it comes along! You know it is odd about how many you meet while working on this event, hearing peoples stories about losing a loved one, being a survivor, knowing a friend or family member fighting daily for their life... and all have said that "Early Detection Saves Lives" so as Oct draws near, make sure that you all get your mammograms, and go to your doctors visits, as we want to hear that there is no more breast cancer, as far as that goes any cancer at all... what a wonderful world this would be, "Cancer Free" Thanks again for following along with me... Lets all ride safe, and enjoy life as if it was our last day! ~~Angel Ride Girl~~

Where is the summer gone?

I know I have been very bad at writing the blog this year, after the ride, I needed a break so went on vacation for a week, and you know something... close your eyes for a moment & the summer is almost over... Put the brakes on, back up a moment... not ready for the fall & winter yet! I do want to thank all of those that helped on the Angel Ride, rode it, donated items for it, worked it, bought items to support it, well just everyone that support our cause! I can't believe the turn out we had... 505 riders plus! There were people from the towns that came out to support us in the towns we rode thru... Met some more amazing people this year! Hope to stay in touch with them down the rode! All the stops we had are awesome & I would tell people to stop there any time! Friendly & have even been asked to bring the TaTa ride back through any time! Anyone knows that putting together an event especially as big as ours is, it is not the easiest thing to do, unless you have good helpers to back you up! Not everyone could help all the time, but they came out when the time was right! I will get back on here with pictures when I can... My cameras battery went out, so had to borrow my best friends camera, so now need to get those from her! Thanks again for following me, I will try (I said try) to be better at this! Take Care & Ride Safe! Angel Ride Girl

FRIDAY July 13th

Good Morning~ Waking up to the cooler breeze coming in the window... I listen and hear there are little rain drops coming down outside! Hum, I hope that it gets all done sprinkling before this afternoon, I know we need the rain, but on the other hand, tonight is our Angel Ride pre-registration party at Sneakers! We have worked so hard in getting donations, putting together baskets, arranging things to be done & the Dueling Pianos will be playing tonight, so hope the rain gets it over with by lets say 12-1pm! We got the trailer pretty much loaded up with everything but the chairs for Saturday. Tonight things will be loaded in trucks! I hope we don't forget anything... Yes I am nervous! I want this to be a good event! Remember Friday the 13th most people think its unlucky, for us working for people with breast cancer, we are hoping its luckier than any other Friday the 13th, as breast cancer doesn't skip Friday the 13th because its worried about it... ~~Angel Ride Girl

Counting down to the day!

Today is Thursday! Our pre-party is tomorrow... where has all the time gone? Wow! We are still getting in donations & some awesome things at that! The trailer is getting loaded up daily, slowly, as we have to be careful what goes into it! I want to say that after typing up the testimonies of the people who have used our services this last year, it gives me more reason to make this years a success! I will put some of those at the bottom here! It is amazing how they fight daily, and appreciate all the efforts we do to make sure this is a good event! So it makes me want to work as hard as I can to get this done! Sleep who needs that right! Thanks ahead of time for all that are planning to come to the pre-registration party on Friday night at Sneakers here in Ft Dodge, sorry to those that don't as I am sure you will miss a GREAT TIME! HUGS to you all!! Ride Safe Until Next Time~ Angel Ride Girl ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sometimes you have to go through things and not around them. Thank you to the Save the TaTas group for helping me with my co-payments. Bless all of you for what you do for the breast cancer people & for helping me go through the breast cancer journey. ~Thanks ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have lived, laughed, loved & lost. I have cried, mourned & grieved, hoped, prayed & healed. I have found strength & true believing. I AM A SURVIVOR! You made my journey with breast cancer easier due to your support. ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!I

Today is Friday July 6th! And it is one week from the ride! We have had so many nice donations come in, and meeting so many great people along the way! Planning this ride takes allot of work but when you step back and look at the people you meet working on the planning, and stops that we have at the bars, the people that own and work there it has been amazing! Plus the locals that are helping them to make their stop a huge success! TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT! One person cannot to this on their own, it takes many people to make something like this a success! And I want to thank all those that help us out whether it is in the planning stag, a stop area, giving a donation, or buying a shirt, it takes many many people! A couple places I want to thank is Lynch's over in Rockwell City, Mike & Julie were so nice by letting us set up for their bike night 2 weeks in a row! Those were the only bike nights we had this year! And to Sportsters in Newell, Oh My have they bought the most shirts ever in one area that we stop at! It shows how much the town comes out to support them! Well I have much to work on before next week! Thanks again for following my blog! Until next time! Ride Safe ~ Angel Ride Girl

BE CAREFUL WHEN DRIVING!

Happy 4th to everyone... I am going to vent alittle tonight! This morning when my son took off to go hang out with his girlfriend, to watch a parade, and enjoy his girlfriends family time & fire works, never in my wildest dream would I have ever thought that he'd call us with an accident... Yep... some stupid guy (and I am choosing my words lightly & nicely) backed into my son while he was on his bike at a stop sign... He had a lawn service truck and trailer (wont say the name)! As my son was sitting behind him on his bike, at a stop sign, this guy backs up and hits him, his trailer backs up enough that the bike tire is stuck under it! He gets out & asks if son is ok, said "I didn't mean to..." blah blah blah drives off... yes my son is okay, but we will have to trailer the bike home! What kind of idiot would do this... Tomorrow there is going to be some calls made... my son worked hard to pay for his bike! Its not new or fancy but it is his & he paid for it all by himself! And to have this guy drive off no name or anything, only good thing was he had a company truck... what is this world coming to? Please people watch out when you are driving your cars, trucks, buses or motorcycles out there, you never know whats going to happen to you or your family. It could be your loved one that is hit by a lawn service truck :( Ride Safe~ Angel Ride Girl

2 weeks from today! WOW!

Greetings to all you out there... Today marks 2 weeks until the pre-registration party & ride begins! I can't believe it! This has been a busy week! Tues some of us girls were at Lynch's at Rockwell City! I want to say to them that their DJ "BIG DADDY ATTY" is an awesome guy! Not only did he help us unload the shirts to sell, he coached people to come up and buy shirts from us! He himself bought a "Dudes for Boobs" shirt and took off his shirt to put on our shirt right out in the open!! Talk about a COOL DUDE!! We also got to visit with a gal that is going through treatments right now! This is her 2nd bout with it, and I was amazed that she had such an awesome attitude about it! We had an awesome Bike nite there & they want us to come back again next week! :) Thursday we had another planning meeting and this meeting was a bit special as we had a new member start. She happened to call me a week ago and then again on Wed night! She is a survivor and has joined our group to help others! She is an awesome lady! Can't wait to get to know her more! This coming Monday we will be putting together baskets for the silent & live auctions in two weeks! We have so many awesome donations, thanks to so many caring people! The flag that I have pictured at the top of the page is a IOWA flag signed by the head, Basketball , Football & Wrestling coaches of IOWA college! This is not a common donation and was told it was very rare to get those all to sign something at one time! I hope it brings in some Iowa Fans! We have so much work cut out for us! Have talked to some of the bar owners/managers and they are gearing up for the big event! I know I can't wait to see the turn out! I know it has been so hot out lately, but I am hoping for nice weather the day of the ride! Meeting old friends and getting to know some new ones! Want to tell everyone thank you so much for the support that you have given us over the last 5-6 years! We couldn't of made this possibly without your help. And thanks all the committee members old & new, there is no way that the planning of this ride could of happened with out any of your help!! Oh another person that I want to thank is Kathy at Personali~Tees in Humboldt! I know its her business of shirts but she has been AWESOME to work with! I am sure that it isn't easy some days for her or us, we but we work through it together!! THANK THANK YOU SO MUCH! Well until next stop... Ride safe, and remember early detection saves lives!
